Chase Bliss - Warped Vinyl mkII
A master of movement.
The Warped Vinyl mkII is a vibrato / chorus that gives you control over ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING (including a knob to control the other knobs). It features all-analog circuitry but is controlled by a digital brain, which enables you to do things like save settings and use tap tempo (AND RAMP). The mkII version of the Warped Vinyl was designed based on customer feedback, and features a number of notable improvements over the original, including a tone knob, reduced noise, and top-mounted dip switches.
The Warped Vinyl's vibrato is extremely customizable thanks to the "modushape" section of the pedal, which lets you choose different waveforms for the top and bottom of the wave, and decide which one is emphasized. |

The real magic of the unit is the knob to control all knobs: ramp, which works like a time-based auto-expression pedal. Dip switches along the top of the unit let you set which parameters are affected, and how. Among other things, it lets you dial in tremolo, fluctuate between which half of the waveform is emphasized, and speed the RPM up and down, all automatically and in real-time. Watch the video to see how it works in motion.
The result of all of these features is an extremely fluid vibrato / chorus, that can have multiple layers of movement occurring simultaneously: a sine wave vibrato with a square ending, changing speeds beneath a tremolo; a swirling chorus with all sorts of subtle, mysterious motion.
It baffles the mind.
Be baffled.
